Aug 08, 2012 · As an aside and I'm not sure if this happened on the Windows side as well, (I only admin my airport with my mac) but the newest version of the AirPort Utility severely changed the UI, and hid or just plain eliminated access to a lot of the options (i.e. made it more "user-friendly") so if it seems to not give you all of the options, check the earlier version. It’s not the most in-depth router management tool but, it’s the only router management tool available to manage an Apple Airport product. I had no intentions on upgrading/updating this app. on my iPad, which is what I use for pretty much everything apple based on the terrible reviews this update 1.3.6 was getting.
